The Quaxs Trading CenterMiami Dolphins have yet to close to deal with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
But Miami has added two key veteran defensive players with money saved by cutting Xavien Howard this offseason.
Days after adding veteran safety Marcus Maye, it was revealed the Dolphins be adding veteran defensive end Calais Campbell.
The Campbell addition was first reported by NFL Network.
Campbell gives Miami some additional insurance as Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb work their way back from serious injuries.

Campbell also can join veteran Shaq Barrett in providing veteran leadership for youngsters such as rookies Chop Robinson — who officially signed Thursday — and Mo Kamara.
Campbell is 6-foot-8, 282 pounds and that’s important because he’s sturdy against the run.
Campbell has 105.5 career sacks, including 12 in the past two seasons.
In 2022, Campbell had 5.5 sacks for the Ravens. That’s where new Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver previously coached.
In other news, the Jacksonville Jaguars extended quarterback Trevor Lawrence at $55 million per year, which could impact Miami’s negotiations with Tua.
